A search is underway for a senior quality leader to oversee enterprise-wide quality assurance within a complex industrial construction environment. This role will define and elevate quality standards across multiple project sites, ensuring consistent execution, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. The Director will serve as a key partner to executive leadership, project teams, and clients, driving a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the organization’s quality strategy, aligning programs with broader business objectives
- Design and implement scalable quality management systems across multiple project sites
- Oversee audit programs to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and industry standards
- Partner with project leadership and clients to resolve quality issues and reinforce best practices
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing quality organization, including field inspectors and analysts
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including corrective action programs and performance metrics
- Develop and deliver training to strengthen quality awareness and execution across teams and subcontractors
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of progressive quality leadership experience within industrial or heavy construction environments
- Proven track record leading multi-site quality programs in complex project settings
- Current Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential in good standing
- Strong command of quality management systems, audit frameworks, and construction safety standards
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and operate effectively in client-facing environments
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline
